Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to join their client's dynamic team in Scripps Ranch. This role is a 5-month contract role that requires a professional with expertise in Autodesk Revit for electrical drafting, who is eager to contribute to projects in various sectors including healthcare, education, and municipal facilities. The position is 100% onsite, offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with engineers and architects.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday: Alternative work schedule. Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm. Friday 8-12pm

Responsibilities

  • Engage in Autodesk Revit drafting of electrical construction documents, including drawing setup, layering, 3D modeling, circuiting, and detailing.
  • Manage the preparation of engineering drawings for new construction and renovations, encompassing electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct thorough coordination with designers, drafters, and engineers to ensure cohesive design efforts.
  • Create floor plans, site plans, section views, and detailed drawings from written and verbal specifications provided by engineers.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, participating in project meetings and conference calls as necessary.
  • Maintain a meticulous approach to drafting, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings.
  • Assist in the development of drafting blueprints for municipal, state, and federal buildings.
  • Support project responsibilities in line with scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of MEP construction documents.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine project specifications and execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Revit, focusing on MEP drafting.
  • High school diploma required; a certificate related to drafting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in handling drafting and design elements within drafting software with minimal supervision.
  • Basic electrical knowledge, including circuits, single line diagrams, and equipment detailing.
  • Strong communication skills, self-starter, proactive with questions, and detail-oriented.
